Training Courses

The objectives of EIHRSDS will be pursued through the organisation of the following two main training courses:

• 5-day intensive course (38 hours) on “European and International Human Rights Standards in Disaster Settings”, run every year for three years at the Scuola Sant’Anna (Pisa, Italy), which will target 25 graduate/post-graduate students, practitioners, representatives of national institutions engaged in humanitarian activities (e.g. civil protection organizations). 

• 20-hour internal course on “International & EU Law, Human Rights and Disasters”, run every year for three years at the Scuola Sant’Anna, and aimed at the undergraduate students of the Scuola.
